Lee Jae-Dong, alias n.Die_Jaedong, nicknamed The Tyrant and The Legend Killer, (generally known as Jaedong or JD for short), (born January 9, 1990) is a South Korean professional StarCraft player representing, until their recent dissolution, team Hwaseung Oz as its Zerg ace player. He is one of four players to break the 2350 barrier in the TeamLiquid.net ELO rankings[1] and is currently ranked second in the world by the Korean E-Sports Association[2] and fifth by ELO ranking.[5]. He is one of two players to achieve a winning percentage above 66% with a career record of 482 wins and 219 losses (68.76%).[3] On August 22, 2009, he became the third player to win the prestigious "Golden Mouse" award for winning three OSL titles, and the second since Lim Yo-Hwan to win two OSL titles back-to-back.
In 2008 Lee was awarded the KeSPA "Player of the Year", "Best Winning Percentage", and "Best Player In the World" awards.[4]
In 2009 Lee printed his hand onto a piece of clay to "immortalize" him. This achievement was made with 100 Proleague wins. Lee did this alongside 'Reach' who also achieved 100 wins.[5]

After KESPA revised the rules regulating Free Agency, Hwaseung OZ made Lee an offer of 140,000,000 won (112,420 USD) a year to renew his contract.[6][7] During the bid period, Lee expressed interest in remaining within Hwaseung Oz because of the friendships he had forged over the past three years on the team.[8]
Although his father publicly stated in interviews that retirement was a possibility,[9] Lee renegotiated his contract with Hwaseung Oz and has confirmed that he will play for the team in the upcoming Proleague season.[10]
In August 2011, Hwaseung decided to stop sponsoring Oz to shift their priorities over to physical sports. This left Lee, and several other notable progamers without a team as FOX and Hero also closed down. However in the first days of November it was revealed the governing body of esports in Korea, KeSPA, had decided to form a team. It was announced Lee along with several other progamers from the closed down teams, would move to the new team. Notable gamers to join the new team was Yum Bo Sung (Sea), Jun Tae Yang (BaBy) and Park Joon Oh (Killer) and Lee.
The new KeSPA formed team will compete in the 2011-2012 season.
